Eco Council

Our Eco Council was first formed in 2018. Their aims were to make our school a cleaner and greener space to learn and to make others more aware of the environmental issues that they felt were important. The Eco Council hold a special assembly to share their ideas. The school council and eco council together in 2018/2019 helped to plan improvements to our nature area. These shopuld be completed in October 2019.  They have planned a new hedgerow to encourage a wider diversity of wildlife and plant life which will be planted in the autumn of 2019. The Eco council have also promoted recycling of batteries, clothes, paper, printer cartridges, stamps and foreign coins – don’t forget to bring yours into school soon! The Eco Council also encouraged and planted a vegetable garden and sold the profits from this to reinvest for more seedlings next year.
