Nicky Nook Class – Autumn
As designers we researched, designed and made Roman catapults. All of the models were successful and the winning model shot a distance of 9.14 metres. Fantastic!
As scientists we investigated dissolving using a fair test and controlled variables. We now know dissolving involves a liquid and another material, often a solid to form a solution. Dissolving does not need heat to occur. Look at the salt crystals we made.
As independent learners we completed projects to teach the rest of the class what we had learned about the Romans.
